Polaroid was founded in 1937 by one of the most seminal innovators of the 20th century, Edwin Land. His motto was, “don't undertake a project unless it is manifestly important and nearly impossible.” In 2008, Polaroid shuttered its last factory, but a group of diehard fans came together as The Impossible Project to save instant film. Over 10 years later that startup acquired what was left of Polaroid and today we’re again a small group of people passionate about changing the world through great products.


What are we looking for?


Polaroid is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a consumer products brand in retail.


Objectives of the role


  • Key support function for the US Sales team
  • Cross-functional collaboration within the US and Amsterdam teams


Primary Responsibilities


  • Key support function for the US Sales team
  • Manage the monthly product allocation process across all key customers
  • The primary hub for all new customer setup, including owning & distributing all customer requirements
  • New item setup within retailer systems
  • Compliance management across all customer needs for the Americas
  • Submit sell through reporting into Polaroids local data system
  • Retail dealer communication, including but not limited to any US reseller policies & promo plans
  • Project management for business development


Qualifications/ Competencies Required


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with intermediate spreadsheet skills, must have the ability to organize and manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables etc.
  • 3-5 years working with a Sales team in a consumer goods company.
  • Familiarity with vendor portals such as Target, Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • Problem solver with project management skills
  • Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency
  • Display a positive and pro-active attitude

What to expect:

This is a hybrid role. You will be coming into the office 3 days a week reporting to the Head of the Americas.
